Mileage86,936Service Date5/13/2024Services Performed- We were able to confirm the concern while on a test drive with the customer. This light that is coming on is an emergency braking light and has to do with the front facing Laser/Radar. The light on the center of the dash is the programmed sensitivity of the radar. We pulled codes and found a C1A16- Radar blocked and a C10B7 which does not give us a description. Based on service data we have found that the ICC sensor is a common issue with these vehicles however we do not posses the systems to properly replace, reprogram, and align the new sensor. You can manually turn off the emergency braking system however it will turn back on with every key cycle. Once turned off the light on the ride side of the dash will stay illuminated indicating that the system is off.

- Looked at system and is a drive by wire system, No throttle cable. Performed a code scan and No codes present, all monitors passed. Checked the throttle blade for excessive play, throttle blade has no play. Test drove vehicle and could not replicate concern. If there was a problem it would set a check engine light.
- Fuel Gauge is reading just under full, removed sending unit and cycled the float and the gauge follows, from empty to full. Could not replicate concern at this time.

Mileage191,975Service Date4/30/2024Services Performed- Confirmed no start. Used jumper pack to start vehicle. While vehicle was running checked charging system. System is charging at 14.5v. Charging system is okay. Tested battery. Battery failed the test. Battery CCA spec is 550 and it wouldn't measure any CCA from battery. Recommend replacement of battery and retesting system afterwards. Battery terminals look fairly new and tight. Recommend rechecking after battery replacement to correctness.
- Oil is close to minimum level. Lifted vehicle up and inspected for leaks. Found the top end of the engine dry. And found oil pressure sensor to be leaking, oil filter adapter gasket is leaking, and engine oil pan is leaking as well. Power steering rack is covered in oil. Looks like engine oil. Recommend power washing the undercarriage of the front of the vehicle after repairs to ensure no more leaks are present. Recommend replacement oil pressure sender, oil filter housing gasket, and replacement of oil pan gasket/reseal oil pan with silicone.
- ENGINE OIL FILTER BASE – Remove & Replace – Normally Aspirated
- OIL PAN &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace – Normally Aspirated

Mileage209,337Service Date4/15/2024Services Performed- After visually inspecting the power steering system we found that the pump was over filled with fluid. We then found that even with the correct amount of fluid the pump is still making noise. We also found that a repair was attempted on one of the power steering lines by cutting a rubber hose out and hose clamping a new one in its place. At this time we do not believe the steering rack is leaking but we will not know for sure until the reapir is made. We are recommending replacing the power steering pump because it is humming, serpentine belt because it is cracking, and both pressure and return lines due to the previous repair attempts.
- POWER STEERING PUMP – Remove & Replace – V6
- POWER STEERING HOSE – Remove & Replace – V6 Pressure
- POWER STEERING HOSE – Remove & Replace – Return

Mileage203,497Service Date2/29/2024Services Performed- Found coolant level is slightly low topped off with water and pressure tested to 15 psi. Noticed cooling hoses appear original. Checked engine oil and is full and no evidence of coolant at this time. Lifted vehicle and noticed red fluid on the sub frame, inspected further and found that the power steering pump is leaking. Also noticed a couple drops of orange fluid on the engine oil pan, followed the trace marks to the weep hole for the water pump. Water pump is beginning to leak. Water pump is driven by the timing chain. Due to the mileage the engine will need to be replaced with power steering pump and install kit.

Mileage97,347Service Date2/27/2024Services Performed- We were able to confirm a coolant leak based on visual inspection however, we were unable to pressure test the system because when we went to add water the water was flowing out faster then we could add. We took a mirror to the leaking area and found the water pump is leaking. We also found that due to the water pump not being alinged the serpentine belt was torn up. We are recommending replacing the water pump, serpentine belt, thermostat, coolant, and retest the cooling system after.
- WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace
- THERMOSTAT – Remove & Replace

Mileage103,480Service Date2/9/2024Services Performed- We were able to confirm a cylinder 2 misfire. We first pulled codes and found a P0302 confirming our misfire as well. We visually inspected the area and found that the retaining tabs for the ignition coils were all broken. We disconnected the ignition coil and checked internal resistance and found it to be okay after plugging everything back in, clearing codes and test driving the vehicle we were unable to get it to misfire again. On our test drive we did notice that the engine would over heat and return to normal repeatedly. We started the vehicle up after letting it sit over night and found that it has bad timing rattle as well as lifter noise. We pressure tested the vehicle and found no signs of any leaks at this time. We then block tested the vehicle and found that it failed indicating a head gasket failure. We are recommending a complete engine replacement.

Mileage147,138Service Date2/9/2024Services Performed- Scanned for codes and found codes P0430 catalyst efficiency bank 2. P2138 accelerator pedal position sensors 1-2 Not plausible. Found a technical service bulletin for the p2138 code stating (condition may be caused by water intrusion into the instrument panel to body harness connector, which carries the sensor circuit signals to the ecm/pcm. The water intrusion results in voltage differences that exceeds a predetermined value can cause P2138. The correction is verify any aftermarket components are not connected to the 5v references. Then locate the instrument panel to body connector and inspect for corrosion, water or debris. If present clean then retest). For the p0430 code need more time to review data and test some parts. Both bank 1 and bank 2 catalyst are passing but barely. Catalyst are bolted to the head. Rec replacing both cat assemblies w/ gaskets and inspecting and cleaning the instrument to body connector, per TSB instruction. Inspected the instrument panel to body harness connector and did find evidence of water, blew out the plug with compressed air and plugged back in.
- Tested fuses and both high and low beam fuses are good. Removed both headlight assemblies and tested found the driver side(left side) has a shorted ballast. The ballast is part of the head light assembly. Found water in both headlight assemblies which cause the left one to fail, so the right headlight assembly will fail in the near future because it is cracked as well. Recommend replacing both headlight assemblies.
